Administrative History	An ancient chapelry in Prestbury parish. In 1835 it became the parish church for Hurdsfield, Macclesfield, Macclesfield Forest and Wildboarclough. In 1983 its parish was united with Macclesfield Christ Church and Macclesfield St. Peter. In 2010 it became the parish church for central and northern Macclesfield.
